How we help / Anxiety
Anxiety counselling · Northern Ireland

When your mind won't stop, we can help you quiet it.

Compassionate, practical support for anxiety, panic, and the kind of worry that follows you around all day. Online, across Northern Ireland, with no waiting list.

Anxiety has a way of making everything feel urgent and nothing feel safe. If your thoughts are racing, your chest is tight, and you're exhausted from bracing for something to go wrong, you are not overreacting, and you are not alone.

Anxiety is one of the most common reasons people come to us, and one of the most treatable. It can show up as constant low-level worry, sudden panic that comes from nowhere, a dread you can't quite name, or a mind that simply won't switch off at night. However it shows up for you, it's real, and it responds well to the right support.

You might recognise some of this

You don't have to figure out why first

A lot of people put off therapy because they feel they should be able to explain exactly what's wrong before they reach out. You don't. Bring the muddle. Working out what's underneath the anxiety is part of the work, not something you need to have solved before you start.

How therapy actually helps

Anxiety thrives on avoidance and on being faced alone. Therapy gently reverses both. Your therapist helps you understand what's driving the worry, learn practical ways to calm your nervous system in the moment, and slowly loosen anxiety's grip on the decisions you make and the things you avoid.

There's no single fixed method, because anxiety isn't the same for everyone. Some people benefit from practical, structured tools. Others need space to understand where it came from. We match you with a therapist who works in the way that suits you, rather than putting you through one set programme.

Help that fits you, not a waiting list

No three-month wait. No cap on your sessions. No being handed one type of therapy whether it suits you or not. Just a qualified, experienced therapist, matched to you, for as long as it's helping.

You meet however feels safest, by video, by phone, or by WhatsApp, from wherever you are in Northern Ireland.

You don't have to carry this on your own

Send a short message and a real person will call you back within two working days. No pressure, no commitment, just a conversation.
