You keep 75% of your session fee. We take a simple 25% for bringing you the client and running everything around it.

Minimum commitment

No minimum hours, no quotas. Take as many or as few clients as you like, and build it around your existing work.

100%

Of the admin, handled

We find the clients, manage the enquiries, take the payments, and pay you. You just turn up and do what you do best.

Private practice is wonderful, right up until you remember you also have to be your own marketer, receptionist, accountant, and IT department. Glen & Oak takes all of that off your plate, so you can get back to the part you actually trained for.

We were founded by someone who spent over a decade as a therapist, so we build everything around what therapists actually need rather than what looks good in a brochure. No clients to chase. No website to maintain. No awkward conversations about money. Just clients, matched to you, and the freedom to work the way you want.

We bring you the clients

The hardest, most expensive part of private practice is finding clients. We do that for you, through our marketing and our brand, and match them thoughtfully to you.

Work from anywhere

This is online work, by video, phone, or WhatsApp. Practise from home or your own space, anywhere in Northern Ireland, on a schedule that suits your life.

Fair, simple pay

You keep 75%. We charge the client, then pay you. No chasing payments, no invoicing clients, no uncomfortable money conversations in the room.

A practice with real values

We exist because too many people wait too long for the wrong kind of help. If that matters to you too, you'll be in good company here.

Who we're looking for

We keep our standards high, because the people who come to us deserve genuinely good therapy. To join, you'll need:

Before you take on any clients, we'll verify your registration directly with your accrediting body, and check your qualifications, insurance, and identity. We'll also ask for a current Access NI (DBS) check and a professional reference. It's how we keep our standards high and our clients safe, and it's what good therapists tell us they want to see in a practice.

Your questions, answered

The things therapists usually want to know before they apply. If yours isn't here, just ask us when we talk.

How does payment work?

We charge the client and pay you your 75%, so there are no awkward money conversations in the room and no chasing payments. You keep 75% of your session fee, we keep 25% for bringing you the client and running everything around it. The exact pay-out schedule is set out in your associate agreement.

Am I employed or self-employed?

Self-employed. You work as an independent associate, which means you keep control of your own practice, your own hours, and your own clinical work, while we handle the clients, the admin, and the payments.

Is there a minimum number of clients or hours?

No. None at all. Take as many or as few clients as you like, and build it around your existing work or practice. There are no quotas and no pressure to take on more than suits you.

Where do the clients come from?

From us. Finding clients is the hardest and most expensive part of private practice, and it's the part we take off your plate. Through our marketing and our brand, we bring the clients to you, and match them thoughtfully based on fit.

How are clients matched to me?

When someone gets in touch, we learn what they're looking for and pair them with a therapist suited to them. We take fit seriously, because it's most of what makes therapy work, so we won't simply send you everyone who enquires.

How do sessions take place?

This is online work, delivered by secure video, phone, or WhatsApp, depending on what suits the client. You'll work from your own quiet, private space, anywhere in Northern Ireland.

Do I keep my own clinical notes?

Yes. As an independent professional you remain responsible for your own clinical work and your own notes, in line with your accrediting body's requirements. The full detail of how this works is set out in your associate agreement.

What happens after I apply?

We'll review what you've sent and, if it looks like a good fit, get in touch within two working days for a friendly chat. We'll tell you more, answer your questions, and ask to see proof of your qualifications, training, insurance, and registration before you take on any clients.
